Sign Up: GOAT Mentors - Declaration of interest to become a GOAT Mentor (part of GOAT Boys movement)

Only 7 schools in the entire country were chosen… and Oakmoor School is one of them.

We’re proud to be part of Wave 2 of the GOAT Boys mentoring project — an initiative that’s changing the game for young men by building confidence, resilience, and real-world direction.

This pioneering initiative is built on a simple but powerful idea: every boy deserves access to a trusted adult outside their home.

At a time when many young boys across the UK are facing rising isolation, declining engagement, and a lack of consistent positive role models, this work has never been more important.

GOAT Boys — grounded in Growth, Ownership, Attitude, and Tenacity — is all about building confidence, resilience, aspiration, and a true sense of belonging in young men.

Born in Basingstoke through the vision of Chris Edwards, the programme is already making a real impact and is now expanding nationally.

Now we need your help.

We’re calling on volunteers to step forward as male mentors and make a lasting difference for boys in Bordon.

Please help this project by doing one of the following.

1. Sign up to be a male mentor by visiting https://www.goatboys.co.uk/ and clicking on get involved.

2. Share this as far and as wide as possible.

Together, we can ensure every boy has the support they deserve.
